It’s Over!

Congratulations! You made it through a month of pursuing your ambitious writing goals. Time doesn’t stop for us during November. You took on this challenge on top of your job, your kids, your relationships– whatever occupies your life. Through all of that, you made this journey through the forest with us, and you should be proud! Whether you wrote 50,000 words or 500, those are words you didn’t have in October. So let’s say it again:

Wrap Party

Come celebrate with us at our Wrap Party! Bring a snack to share or just yourself. It’s a fun time to relax and socialize with your fellow writers. We will also host a raffle where you can win fun prizes from our favorite local coffee shops and bookstores.

Now What?

For December, the KanMoWriCo organizers are taking a break! We’ll be back in January with in person Sunday write-ins and virtual Wednesday night write-ins. You’re still welcome to hang out in Discord and run sprints, but we won’t be organizing anything until next year. Come to the wrap party for a sneak preview of our 2025 program, or watch your inbox 👀 for more announcements in January.

Donations

Thank you again to everyone who donated to help us run the November Program. We set a budget of $300 and we were so fortunate to receive more than we asked for, and to spend less than we expected! We will revisit our budget for next year and think about what cool things we can put that money toward in the future. If you would like to chip in toward that future, you can donate at our ko-fi!
