We’ve made it to the last week! Take a deep breath and remind yourself how far you’ve come. You’ve wound your way through a mirror funhouse filled with plot tangles, through rides so creaky that you thought they would break, and overcame your tummy ache after eating too many sweet treats.

Even if you don’t feel like you’ve done all that much, you absolutely have. You made a dedication at the beginning of the month to do something for yourself, for your craft, and you’ve shown up! Pat yourself on the back even if all feels lost. We’re proud of you. We hope that you can take this momentum and keep going into the new year. We’ll be here, writing, revising, and writing some more!

Updated Holiday Events

Thanksgiving is late this year, which makes for a pretty weird month. Normally in the final week, you have a little bit of time to climb back up from the Thanksgiving drop. But just because Turkey Day is coming late doesn’t mean it has to gobble up your word count! We have our annual Turkey Day Write-In, the regular Black Friday Virtual Marathon, and two write-ins on Sunday to finish out this month strong. See Events This Week below for full details.

December Hiatus

Aside from the wrap party on 12/7, the organizers will be taking a break in December! Participants are welcome to continue running virtual sprints with our good friend Sprinto during the month of December, but there will be no official events from us. If you’re hosting something at a coffee shop, feel free, and message Bee on Discord to put it on the calendar. We’ll be back in the new year with our weekly Sunday write-ins!
